Multi-talented singer, songwriter, and artist Kayla DiVenere shares her new single, “Small Talk,” out today on Sound Factory Records.

Kayla DiVenere, the Los Angeles-based sensation, is back with a bang, unveiling her latest alt-pop anthem, “Small Talk.” This track follows her string of successful singles, including “Date Myself” and “Jumping the Gun.” Collaborating with the talented producer/songwriter Jordan Witzigreuter of The Ready Set, alongside songwriters Maia Kelly and Zach DeGaetano, Kayla continues to impress at just 20 years old.

“Small Talk” showcases Kayla’s knack for blending catchy melodies with deeply personal lyrics, exploring the rollercoaster of young adult emotions. Kayla shares, “‘Small Talk’ was born from my yearning for more meaningful interactions beyond the brief chats whenever he visited. I had visions of a grand romantic gesture that would fulfill my fantasies, inspired by classic John Hughes movies. Ultimately, I channeled these feelings into creating the song, hoping to unravel my emotions and yearn for a connection beyond mere small talk.”

Originally from Montreal and now thriving in Los Angeles, Kayla DiVenere has been a prominent figure in the arts from a young age, showcasing her talents in acting (with credits in “Love Victor,” “Law & Order,” and “Light as a Feather”) before making her mark in the music industry.
