Today, Alison Wonderland presents “Wake Up,” her latest track in collaboration with her longtime partner QUIX. Available for streaming on Astralwerks, this dynamic single was first unveiled during her full-house show at Red Rocks on October 13. The artwork for the song is inspired by visuals from that very performance.
The track, “Wake Up,” showcases the fearless and intriguingly dark side of both Alison Wonderland and QUIX. It begins with an intense cello introduction and progresses into a powerful, tension-driven masterpiece synonymous with her iconic style. The rhythm pulsates and morphs, vanishing into an eerie blend of synthesizers, only to resurface as a trance-inducing deep house tune. Given its release period, it’s poised to be the go-to track for late-night Halloween celebrations.
This new release follows her September song “Fight or Flight,” a mesmerizing joint project with MEMBA that received rave reviews from EDM.com for its stellar production. This track, her first for the year, was introduced during her Electric Zoo appearance and was launched under her own label, FMU Records. Since its inception last December, FMU Records has rolled out songs from artists like sumthin sumthin, Jon Casey x Dabow, Aliiias, SIPPY x Dani King, and The Duchess.
This year, the electronic music sensation graced stages at various festivals, including performances at Lollapalooza across Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. Fans can soon catch her live at events in Salt Lake City, Austin, and Orlando. Tickets are available [HERE].
“Wake Up” marks another significant achievement for Alison Wonderland, a force in the electronic music industry. Boasting over 950 million global streams, headlining international sold-out shows, and holding the record for the “Top Female DJ Billing at Coachella,” she was also honored as the Electronic Artist of the Year by Forbes in 2022. “Wake Up” proves once again that Alison Wonderland is perpetually setting new standards in music.
