U2 HITS NO. 1 ON BILLBOARD’S ALTERNATIVE DIGITAL SONG SALES CHART WITH NEW TRACK “ATOMIC CITY”
Sphere Entertainment Co. and Live Nation have added 11 more shows for January and February 2024 to the ‘U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere’ concert series. This move comes in response to the unprecedented demand after the initial 9 performances sold out rapidly.
The concert series, which marks U2’s first live performance in four years, has been hailed as a groundbreaking live music experience. Featuring the iconic rock band, U2, it takes place in Sphere, the world’s most advanced venue. It’s the only place fans can witness this spectacle, which runs until February 18, 2024. Notably, Bono, The Edge, and Adam Clayton will be performing with Bram van den Berg, who fills in on drums for Larry Mullen Jr.
In related news, U2’s new song “Atomic City” has topped the Billboard’s Alternative Digital Song Sales Chart, their fifth track to make it to the top 10, and their first to reach No. 1. Additionally, “Atomic City” ranks in the top 5 at Triple A radio.
This series of events further cements ‘U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere’ as a cultural event, with the show also coinciding with the Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas.
